Kelly Norris-Franks earned her Master of Science in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology and is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). In addition, she is in the process of obtaining her Ph.D. in ABA from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology.
Kelly Norris-Franks has over 15 years of experience working with children on the autism spectrum across various settings (clinic, in-home, group homes, day programs, and schools). Throughout her years of working with children on the autism spectrum, Kelly has served as a Developmental Therapist, Case Manager, Training Specialist, Program Director, Registered Behavior Technician and a BCBA. Kelly has been responsible for completing functional behavior assessments, designing programs as well as behavior intervention plans, implementing and training procedures to Registered Behavior Technicians, conducting parent training as well as creating and conducting staff training. Kelly's specialties include functional communication training, skill acquisition, behavior reduction, social skills, parent training, mindfulness, Behavior Skills Training, and implementation of behavior analysis in youth sports.
Kelly believes early intervention is important in providing the necessary, individualized, services catered to the needs of the child and their family. It is her goal to listen to the priorities of the child and their families and to work together as a team.
In Kelly's free time she enjoys coaching cheerleading, running, yoga, meditating and spending time with her children and dogs.
